As summer comes to a close many of us are already are throwing ourselves into the autumn season - from drinking pumpkin-flavoured coffees to scoffing on cinnamon treats and hunting for the best Halloween decorations. Some of our favourite high street homeware stores are filled with spooky candles, ornaments, decorations and more to get people into the spirit of the season.
One ornament which has been spotted on shelves this year has given shoppers quite the fright. The ornament is sold at TK Maxx/TJ Maxx and shows a man's face inside a pumpkin shape. He has a wrinkling, smirking smile and piercing eyes. It's bound to send shivers down your spine!
The weird ornament, which has variations of different faces on each one, has left many saying they would never by it, while others are rushing to get their hands on it after it's hideous face has gone viral.
One man went viral after sharing snaps of the creepy creature on TikTok recently. He said: "TJ Maxx what the hell is this? Scared the f*** out of me."

"Buying this thing never crossed my mind. They're really getting scary this year."
Another added: "I have truly never been so terrified by something."
While someone else said it 'gave them a heart attack'.
Another person also said it was like 'someone’s grandpa was trapped in there'.
However, despite this, others had different views, as one commented: "I'm scared but also feel bad for it."
While another agreed: "Bless I feel really maternal towards him."
A third added: "Someone poured their heart and soul into this in the factory."
One who wasted no time in picking up the item, added: "I bought the big one he's such a cool guy."
Others said they felt nostalgic seeing these funny decorations. One individual said: "They were super popular in the '80s and apparently each one has a different name! They were called the Oh Latern Family!"
Another replied and said: "Yes! My mum used to have some of these when we were kids and that’s what she decorated for Halloween with. I loved the faces."
